This is the body design for men of the Jungerayai and Japanardi skin groups.

They have an obligation to see that Jakamarra and Jupurulla men observe strict interpretation of the law during ceremony. (These men are referred to as policemen for the artist’s group). The design relates to the Dreaming place, Jambakulong soakwater. The hunter is travelling from Pinakuru to Walangarra where he eventually stops. His travels are depicted as the wavy lines and the concentric circles are the individual locations. The curved shapes scattered throughout the body paint design are the hunter’s killing boomerangs.
