Description
This lino cut print shows all the plants and animals found at Fitzmorrisson, a freshwater lagoon in our Kokoberrin Homelands. This is a place that our families go fishing to catch Long-necked Swamp Turtle, jewfish, biddies and gather freshwater mussel shells. There are also Lotus Lily flowers at this place. We often cook the stems of the lilies on the hot coals of the fire before eating them. The small dots at the bottom of this print are representative of the sand that is found in and around this lagoon. The small dots towards the top of this work show a light shower of on the lilies flowers in the lagoon.
