Description

Burum or Puwaka is our language name for Pig. In this I show the two ways a dog is trained to track a pig. The ‘Gima Gan’ (scent in the air) and the ‘Apa Gan'(scent on the ground). For the Gima Gan the urinary tract of the pig is worn over the snout of the dog. The dog will then struggle to remove it and will begin to really hate the smell of the pig. For the Apa Gan, the dogs are given the hooves of the pig to eat.
