Description

This legend was recorded in the Kala Lagaw Ya language in 1994. It was retold by my father, the late Leniaso Tipoti, known to islanders as Argan-Besai. This story highlights the results of stealing from the blind. In a sense it is related to the traditional cultural lores of the Maluiligal nation. The story is yet to be translated into English.
