Description

The lithographic process has been exploited to mirror the texture and imagery seen in rock art on the artist’s island of Badu.

The frogs are a visual metaphor for rain that relates to the ancient rain ritual practiced by the Rain People of the Island. Skulls were employed in this ritual.
