Description
Cuminbah is the artist’s country located on Lissadell cattle station in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. Goody depicts one of her favourite places along the Bow River that has been a traditional camping place for generations of her ancestors. Cuminbah is sometimes known as McKenna Springs. It is an oasis that offers permanent shade, good water and where one can always catch a black bream or catfish to complement the ample bush tucker that abounds.
