Description
In this print Marlee has depicted trees and flowers at Uwalki, her native country. Each is a source of rich bush tucker including the wild bush banana, bush onions, tomatoes and bush plumb. Despite its isolation and sparseness the desert is surprisingly abundent in native foods and Marlee and her contempories are experts at foriaging for these life sustaining foods found throughout the desert.
