Description

Waru Kakurun Thamika means turtle moving or shifting its eggs. When a turtle is seeking a spot to lay it’s eggs, it try’s to trick the potential predators that may dig up the nest and feast on the eggs. It does this by digging several fake spots before choosing a final nesting place. Lizards, pigs and also humans get frustrated when trying to find the actual nest by following the turtle’s tracks.
